4CX, the global purchasing and logistics solutions specialist, has been granted ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for an organisation's internal quality management. An organisation's quality management refers to its actions to ensure that its products or services satisfy its customers' quality requirements and comply with any regulations applicable to those products or services.
ISO 14001 provides an effective environmental review and action plan and reinforces business environmental credentials. ISO 14001 was first published as a standard in 1996 and it specifies the requirements for an organisation's environmental management system. It applies to those environmental aspects over which an organisation has control and where it can be expected to have an influence.
Paul Reynolds, managing director of 4CX, said: "By having our management system independently assessed against these internationally recognised standards, we are making a powerful statement about 4C's quality management and environmental credentials and a long term commitment to continuing these high standards as we grow as a business."
We offer end-to-end solutions for global companies, delivering cost savings through low cost sourcing and supply chain optimisation. We have always dedicated ourselves to ensuring we are ethical and professional in our service delivery and our accreditation underscores 4CX's commitment to quality performance."
4CX's recent ISO certification also supports and underpins objectives on social and ethical issues and complements both their commitment to the core values of the United Nations Global Compact and SEDEX - the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange. SEDEX system has been designed to enable companies to maintain and share data on labour practices in the supply chain and allows visibility in order to drive and demonstrate improvements.
