Integrated marketing communications agency Space has attracted five new recruits to join its business.
Alex Hawke, Jon Kent, Philippa Johns, James Kingman and Nina Inberg have been appointed to provide their experience and creativity in delivering successful integrated campaigns for several well-known brands.
Alex Hawke has joined the team at Space as Senior Account Director where he is responsible for managing the Samsung and Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) accounts. Alex brings with him an integrated approach to marketing, having worked on below-the-line and above-the-line disciplines during his career. He previously worked at 141 Worldwide, Arc and Triangle working across a range of clients, from financial services to FMCG, including HSBC, P&G, Cadbury and DHL.
“I’m delighted to be joining the team at space, particularly as I had heard such good things about the agency,” Alex said. “It’s great to be part of a team that’s going places as well as work with some great brands. This position will give me the opportunity to take an active role in further growing what is already a highly successful business.”
Jon Kent, who joins Space as Senior Account Manager, will work with Alex on the Samsung and CPRE accounts. Before joining Space, Jon worked at Wax Communications for over four years and Team LGM before that, working across a range of accounts, including Lego, United Biscuits and Honda.
He said: “I was looking for a new challenge and an agency that would help me grow and develop. I chose this agency because of its exciting brands and its friendly and sociable people.”
Philippa Johns joins Space as Creative Services Manager after leaving the Haygarth Group where she worked for six years. Philippa will oversee the traffic and production of work from client account teams to studio and from studio to all external partners and suppliers, as well as managing resource and time in the creative department.
She said: “I had heard of Space’s reputation in the marketplace and was impressed by its list of clients. When I came for my interview I noticed the enthusiastic atmosphere and everyone seemed happy to be working at the agency. I’ve been made to feel very welcome.”
In addition, Space has recruited James Kingman to join the creative team as a Designer and Nina Inberg to fill the role of Account Executive.
David Atkinson, Managing Partner of Space, explained: “We’ve enjoyed some major successes in new client wins during the last few months, resulting in growth and expansion. Growing the team and bringing in the best people is vital to the success of space.
“We look for people who want to be involved in the creative process, have a wide panorama of the marketing mix and understand the benefits of integrated marketing solutions. I’m sure our new recruits will prove to be a valuable asset to the agency, and most importantly, to our clients.” |
